Resilience Station · Lesson 1 of 4

What Resilience Really Is

Watch a boxer take a punch. The goal was never to never get hit. The goal is knowing how to take the hit, get back on your feet, and keep the fight going.

That's resilience.

A rubber band stretches under pressure and comes back to shape. A dry twig just snaps. Resilience is building the stretch — not avoiding the pressure that tests it.

It's not about never getting knocked down. Everybody gets knocked down. Resilience is how fast you get back up — and whether you get back up at all.

The real skill: Get back up. That's the whole skill. Not staying untouched — coming back.
